It is, I’m afraid, that unpredictable time of year when the weather can prove to be our worst enemy and the rains often fall with unremitting force. Having lived through several tragic floods and fought for proper investment in dredging I am determined that everything which needs doing should be done to prevent such natural disasters. That is why I am happily backing the campaign launched by the Environment Agency to make everyone aware of the risks. Better safe than sorry. Have a look at the campaign for yourself.
